Future for farmers in Kenya
Parmaculture:
An ecological design system for sustainability which
teaches how build natural homes, grow food, restore
diminished landscapes and ecosystems, catch
rainwater, build communities. First aspect was train
farmers how to grow horticultural products.
In Masimba Kenya, approximately 30 Farmers received trainingsm in February of 2011.
In Kebirigo, Kenya, 17 farmers were able to be trained by some of the trainees from Masimba.
Farmers were happy with the training as the improved and
increased farm produce.
MKIDA OBJECTIVES TO THE FARMERS:
Sharing and transferring of knowledge.
Learning how to build and develop facilities and larger
infrastructure.
Learning how to improve service delivery for the benefit of the
communities.
Establishing a relationship that will be used to encourage trade
and tourism.
Exploring possibilities of practical exchanges in the fields of
interchnical expertise in public works, Educational, health and
environmental services.
